Eric will continue the gallery’s tradition of offering blue chip Canadian works by artists such as Tom Thomson, Frederick Varley, Maurice Cullen, A.Y. Jackson, and Arthur Lismer, many of whom his father knew personally. He will direct the gallery with his mother Trudy.

For the past 35 years, Eric has been assembling an important catalogue raisonné of the work of Maurice Cullen, shown in a retrospective at Galerie Walter Klinkhoff in 1974. “The Cullen inventory is a labour of love for me. It has become a lifelong study, at the same time offering a resource for authenticating works and advising art historians on all matters ‘Cullen’.”

Galerie Eric Klinkhoff will be presenting a Molly Lamb Bobak Retrospective Exhibition, April 26- May 10. The show features paintings lent from private collections from across the country.
