Seeing Ourselves – Portraying Montrealers

Guest Lecturer : Sandra Paikowsky
Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 7:30 pm
Don’t miss art historian Sandra Paikowsky’s lecture exploring the way Montreal painters visually portrayed the people of Montreal. These popular illustrated talks also address how the changing concerns of painting people and the evolution of Montreal itself have always gone hand-in-hand with the way we see ourselves.
Sandra Paikowsky, recently retired from the Art History Department of Concordia University, was the director of the Concordia Art Gallery and the founding editor of the Journal of Canadian Art History.
