Subtitled Works from the Modern and Post-Modern Era, it is an eclectic selection of prints by world-renowned artists, making it a rather rare opportunity to view some wonderful pieces.

From Antoni Tàpies and Joan Miró, to Josef Albers and Walter Bachinski, the list goes on and on. One wall of the gallery is almost completely taken over by 12 black-and-white prints by the great contemporary British sculptor Antony Gormley, a collection of images resembling sign language or a coded storyboard.

On another wall, an exquisite line drawing by Picasso must certainly be the focal point of this eclectic exhibition. Several etchings by American-born, Paris-based artist James Brown are executed with a great mastery of the craft, producing delicate, dense drawings.

Jean-Paul Riopelle, Agusti Puig, Manuel Lau... the list seems endless, and yet all these artists are in perfect harmony, which bring me to the most impressive aspect of Expansion of Aesthetics, and that is the hanging of the show. Kudos to the owner, whose keen eye for presenting artwork is a form of art in itself.
