Rencontrez (virtuellement!) les deux lauréates du ???? ?????????? ???? : ????? ??? (www.jenny-lin.ca) et ?????? ??????? (www.shannastrauss.co/) et découvrez pourquoi le jury a choisi de souligner leurs carrières !
Ce prix, attendu de la communauté, récompense deux artistes s’identifiant comme femmes ou minorités de genre, à la mi-carrière, afin de reconnaître leurs parcours artistiques et leurs contributions au milieu culturel montréalais.
En plus d’un prix de 5000$ chacune, les lauréates ont l’opportunité de travailler ensemble lors d’une résidence artistique d’une semaine à La Centrale et d’exposer leur travail à La Centrale durant trois semaines.
En raison de la pandémie, la résidence aura lieu en ligne sous forme d’activités avec les artistes et l’exposition sera visible de la vitrine de La Centrale du 20 novembre au 12 décembre 2020.

La Centrale galerie Powerhouse invites you to the online ceremony of the ???? ?????????? ???? on November 20th at 6:30 pm!
Meet (virtually!) the two winners of the ???? ?????????? ???? : ????? ??? (www.jenny-lin.ca) and ?????? ??????? (www.shannastrauss.co) and find out why the jury chose to highlight their careers!
This prize, awaited by the community, rewards two artists who identify as women or gender minorities, in mid-career, in recognition of their artistic journeys and their contributions to Montreal’s cultural life.
In addition to a prize of $5000 each, the winners have the opportunity to work together during a one-week artistic residency at La Centrale and to exhibit their work at La Centrale for three weeks.
Due to the pandemic, the residency will take the form of online activities with the artists and the exhibition will be visible from La Centrale’s window showcase from November 20 to December 12, 2020.
La Centrale would like to recognize the generous contribution of an anonymous donor, making this prize possible for a 7th edition.
